OUR PROCESS
01
PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION
Once your session is booked, we'll schedule a 30-minute consultation over the phone or in person, as you wish. This is one of the most important steps in the process. This preparation will enable me to tell your story both elegantly and authentically.
We'll discuss your expectations, you'll tell me your wishes. And we'll prepare for a truly outstanding photo session -- what you'll wear and where we'll stage the session.

GUIDED PORTRAIT SESSION
Being yourself in front of the camera isn't easy. But I'll make sure to put you at ease. You will forget about my lens and unabashedly show the camera your essence, your true personality. If needed, we will also take breaks. And we will have a look at your first images even while we're in session. Together the photographs we create will match your expectations and live up to the vision we had planned.

ORDERING AND DELIVERING
Your first glimpse of your photos will take place via our online gallery. You'll choose the images you wish to keep. Later, if you wish more than those included in your package, you'll have the option to order additional digital photos "à la carte." Let me take care of your final images and know that they'll be picture perfect and ready to be downloaded from your gallery! I also offer products created with exquisite artwork finished so luxuriously that you'll be proud to show them off for decades to come.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY PHOTO SESSION?
In the Spring and Fall my schedule fills up fairly quickly. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that I'll be available on short notice. I would advise you to get in touch with me as soon as possible, once you've decided that a photo session with me is in your future!
WHEN DO I NEED TO BOOK THE PRE-consultation?
It's best to get that on the schedule as soon as we have booked your photo session -- ideally two weeks before your photo session, though one week prior works too.
DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?
Yes, mini-sessions are in high demand! Two to three times a year I offer mini-sessions for families in Princeton & NYC. And once a year I host a mini-branding session in Princeton. Join my exclusive client list so that you never miss these important dates, for either mini-sessions or any other special events I offer!
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF PRINCETON OR NYC?
Yes! I'm always happy to meet my clients wherever they need me! I'm based in Princeton, NJ, but also regularly work in NYC. A traveling fee will apply when outside of those two areas.
In the summer I offer sessions in Brussels, Belgium & Paris, France.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HEADSHOT
AND A PERSONAL BRANDING SESSION?
A headshot session will include a single portrait to introduce yourself to your target market. It's the visual signature that you'll use as your profile photo on social media. Alternatively, a personal branding session includes a Headshot of you, but also presents your company, your team and your products. The goal of a personal branding session is to illustrate your business or practice with custom, curated images. These will depict your story for use on your website, social media feeds, advertisements, marketing flyers ... and more!
I'M NOT SURE I NEED EDITED/RETOUCHED IMAGES,
DO YOU DELIVER RAW/UNEDITED FILES?
The digital photographs and prints I deliver are professionally developed, edited in color and contrast to match my style. Basic retouching to remove skin imperfections & stray tendrils ensure that the finished product will reflect my standards. Any specific retouching work can be requested, but additional fees will apply. Your photos will be delivered in High Resolution JPEG files.
RAW and unedited images are neither available nor released.
When should we book our newborn session?
Ideally two- three weeks after your little one is born. However, not every family feels ready to have their portraits taken this soon. Together we'll plan the best time based on your due date. And we'll maker sure to book a back-up date, just in case.
